About Marvin Webb
With extensive experience in financial leadership and a passion for diversity, equity, and inclusion, I have honed my skills in various roles, most notably as Chief Financial Officer at Funders for LGBTQ Issues. My approach blends business acumen with a deep understanding of finance, human resources, and technology. My 13-year tenure at Funders for LGBTQ Issues has been marked by strategic financial management, balancing resilience and efficiency to drive growth and profitability.
My strategic thinking extends to human resources. I developed four pillars: employee engagement, total compensation, learning & development, and performance management, all viewed through lenses of race, gender, transgender issues, and disability. This holistic approach aligns strategic goals with measurable business outcomes.
As a 17-year professional modern dancer in New York City, my journey in the arts enriched my perspective, fostering discovery, creativity, and adaptability, and rounded my career out with an MFA in contemporary dance. Post-retirement, I transitioned into business and human resources management, furthering my education with an MBA and an MS in Accountancy.

In my current capacity as a fractional CFO/CHRO, I leverage my expertise to drive strategic financial and HR initiatives for organizations, guiding them toward sustainable growth, social transformation, and equitable practices.

I remain actively involved in community and volunteer initiatives, serving on boards championing community building and LGBTQ rights.
